Real screens, installed in real places, under real pressure. From packed events to permanent builds that had to be done properly — here’s the proof.
Little Creatures, Elizabeth Quay is a modern, industrial brewery in the heart of the city, where there’s a lot to compete with. They needed an eye-catching interior screen that could turn sports and events into sustained spend and increase dwell time from lunch service to last call. Our permanent LED installation was the answer.
At the start of the build, we sat down with the Little Creatures team and their architects to look at the floor plans and understand operational requirements, like noise restrictions and zoning. With that info, we custom-fit the AV system to the venue itself. This meant modelling speaker coverage, SPL levels and viewing angles so we could map how audio would behave throughout the space.
After the seating layouts, lighting plans and other interior details were finalised, we took charge of the system design and user experience. On every project, our goal is to make the LED screen extremely simple for staff to use on a daily basis, and this one was no exception. We locked in mounting, cabling, sightlines and audio coverage early, so the screen feels like part of the venue — not an add-on.
Once construction reached the AV stage, we had a deployment window to install, commission and set up the system. To make this as straightforward as possible on launch day, most of the backend programming and rack configurations are actually pre-built and tested in our warehouse first. We know deadlines are non-negotiable, so we always come prepared.
While other LED screen installation teams may leave it there, our process isn’t done until we do full commissioning and tuning. That means checking audio tuning, screen brightness calibration to ambient light conditions, DSP optimisation and zoning and user control interface (UCI) setup. When handing it over to the venue, we also train the staff so they’re confident on the tools. After all, our LED installs are decade-long assets, not just a one-day job.
The result? An impactful internal LED screen that highlights promotions and upcoming events, streams matches to high-energy crowds and adds to the overall ambience. Needless to say, the cherubs aren’t the only ones driving dwell time and revenue at Little Creatures, Elizabeth Quay.
